The Brief
In the heart of the Blue Mountains, NSW, lies “Pearl,” a visionary project that brings to life the family’s admiration for the subtle elegance of mother of pearl. Spearheaded by Studio Gaxa and the Gaxa Group, this renovation targets a beloved family home, poised to undergo a significant transformation.
The essence of the project is the comprehensive redesign of five pivotal spaces – four bathrooms and a laundry room. Each area is meticulously planned to reflect the serene beauty and soft textures associated with the oyster shell, aiming to blend aesthetic appeal with enhanced functionality.
THE APPROACH
This transformative journey begins with a detailed planning and design phase, followed by a period of careful execution to ensure each element of the project aligns with the client’s vision and the home’s existing character.
